How to adjust your Chrome Microphone settings to get better quality transcription
When you use the "Record Audio" feature and you hear muffled noise/unclear audio/missing transcription this is most probably due to the Chrome microphone settings. This might occur due to multiple input audio sources (microphones/headphones) connected to the computer. To rectify this so as to get better quality transcription follow the below steps:
Marsview's "Record Audio" feature uses the default microphone of your Chrome window. Make sure this microphone is kept in a place that can hear all the speakers in the meetings.
Step 1: Click on the Microphone symbol at the top right of the Chrome browser
Step 2: Click on Manage
Step 3: Try to change the Default Microphone to a different source that would be able to clearly hear all speakers in the meeting.
